Principal Amber Barbarow proudly leads the Jaguars at Arredondo Elementary School. With 25 years in education, all within Lamar CISD, Ms. Barbarow has served as a teacher, math and science instructional coach, assistant principal, and principal. This year marks her 17th year as a principal and her 12th year leading Arredondo Elementary as the founding principal of the campus. Ms. Barbarow earned both a Master’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Houston. She is passionate about building strong relationships with students, staff, and families while creating a positive campus culture focused on growth, high expectations, and student success. Outside of school, Ms. Barbarow enjoys spending time with her amazing daughter and two wonderful granddaughters.
